I received some paint chips today and was inspired to sketch the beach in watercolor. Paint chips are the cure to my color block, and they inspire my palette. The woman was another attempt to step outside of my color comfort zone.
Some thunderstorm cells passed right by us yesterday, and I took a photograph of an anvil cloud. I stood outside for almost an hour watching it and even saw a bolt of lightning flash out from its front against the blue sky. Today, a line of thunderstorms came in from the east, and my dad took the second photo of another anvil cloud as it moved in over the lake.
